Beowulf Alive
Beowulf Alive is a live-performance of the poem by Hannes Kaiser. I created an illustration to be used on the posters announcing the events, as well as a series of illustrations for the text which was adapted by Hannes. The drawings are about A5 in format (21 x 15 cm), except for the cover illustration, which is roughly A4 (21 x 30 cm). The medium used is charcoal. All images were created in 2009. This is the second time I created illustrations for the Anglo-Saxon poem Beowulf. Information about the other project can be found here. Also, do check out Hannes' website at www.beowulfalive.com.
