Graphic Design for the "Promenade of Light" Hessentag 2016
For the ten-day celebration of "Hessentag", which in 2016 is again happening in my hometown of Herborn, I collaborated with local artist Katarina Kronburger (picassolina) on the creation of ten lightboxes. Together with volunteers from Herborn's various districts and outlying villages, she created atmostpheric papercollages for the fronts of the lightboxes, while I was responsible for layouting informative backgrounds.
The project was very much a communicative, collaborative one. Input from the volunteers was encouraged. They also provided most of the photographs I used for the collages, although in some cases I was forced to set out and take photos myself (Hörbach).
