Herborn – Historische Stadtansichten

This book, published by Herborn's Historical Society in late 2009 contains over 300 historic photographs of the various parts of the town, which in 2001 celebrated its 750th anniversary.

I was responsible for typesetting and layout, and also contributed some of my Herborn-inspired drawings for Consommé Althusius which are used as backgrounds on some of the pages. The hardcover book 21 x 20 cm in format, and is set in Adobe Caslon Pro. Below is a full spread of the cover, back, spine and front, and sample pages of the chapter "Märkte" (markets).
